New Library Books
Remember back last year when we invested heavily in the new Twinkl Phonics programme for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and they got their shiny new decodeable reading books?
We have truly been blown away over the last couple of weeks with the Y1 and 2 Phonics Screening Check results - the children have absolutely smashed it and proved our investment was worth it! 
Now it’s the turn of Y3,4,5 and 6. Between the school and the PTFA, we have invested just over £3k on new reading books for children across the school! They have begun arriving this week: a mixture of fiction and non fiction which will not only bring our library offering up-to-date with a more diverse range of books, but will also complement our Learning Means The World Curriculum with the non fiction texts matching the themes taught during the afternoons in school.
