Reading Buddies

We are very grateful so Skanksa and MoD Ashchurch who have this week launched a reading buddies initiative with us here in school.  Every Wednesday, a member of the Skanksa team will visit school to listen to children read and talk to them about books, encouraging reading for pleasure.  

As the programme launched this week, we were so grateful to receive a very generous donation of breakfast cereal to support our new breakfast club.  The team at Skanksa and MoD Ashchurch had collected over 50 boxes of cereal for us, which will keep us going in breakfast club for several weeks.  

We love working with partners in our local community and we are incredibly grateful for the support.
