Remembrance Service
At 11am on Friday 11 November the whole school took part in our annual Remembrance Service. Children took part in a special assembly where they learnt about the importance of this special day and why we pay our respects to those who have lost their lives fighting for our liberty as well as thinking about those who are involved in conflict today.
It was great to see playgroup and lots of family & friends join us in front of the war memorial to take part in the minute’s silence.
Remembrance day is particularly important to our school given the number of children whose parents are involved in the forces.
